Just a man with cameras

I briefly took a photography class in high school that did not yield any genius, so I did not pursue it further at the time.

After college, my fledgling career sent me to Utah, a state where I knew nobody, and knew that I would only be living for 1 year (per the job). I took this opportunity to make the most of my time spent living in the West (the following year I was assigned to Portland, Or for another year).

I traveled as far as I was willing to drive, and took pictures along the way of some of the most beautiful places and things I have ever seen. After moving back east, my interest in photography continued, although it slowed dramatically with the less awesome scenery.

I did make an effort to switch to film photography to focus on capturing individuals and moments that I felt digital photography over-simplified.
